Michael Traylor – Mississippi Attorney
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belhaven University in 2005, and his Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Moot Court Board and president of the student chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He also served as an intern with the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Prior to law school, Michael worked as a claims adjuster for a Mississippi-based insurance company, and after law school his initial practice primarily involved defending insurance companies. In these positions he obtained invaluable experience in all aspects of claims handling and defense – experience that he now utilizes in representing individuals in their claims against insurance companies. Michael joined Richard Schwartz & Associates in 2013, and his practice is now primarily dedicated to helping injured and disabled Mississippians.
Michael is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and licensed to practice before all Mississippi state and federal courts. He is also a member of the Mississippi Association of Justice, the Kids’ Chance of Mississippi Awareness Committee, and vice president for the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Association.
