Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belhaven University in 2005, and his Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Moot Court Board and president of the student chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He also served as an intern with the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Prior to law school, Michael worked as a claims adjuster for a Mississippi-based insurance company, and after law school his initial practice primarily involved defending insurance companies.
