It’s nearly September, and the virus many thought would be a brief interruption to our lives is still causing serious illness across the U.S. The COVID-19 pandemic has interrupted everything from business operations to travel plans to our children’s education. It has been a difficult time for all—but some more than others.
This whole time, front-line workers—law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, and medical workers and staff—have been putting their lives on the line to keep us safe. Though media attention has largely moved on from the continued challenges these employees face in their jobs, we know they are still giving their all to serve their communities in an extremely dangerous time.
Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyer, P.A. partnered with U-Turn Ministries last weekend to provide free food and beverages to those working on the front lines during this pandemic. We also gave out kits with hand sanitizer and masks to help them stay safe while on the job. While it is a small token compared to the daily sacrifices these workers and their loved ones make, we want to make sure the heroes who are keeping us all safe know how thankful we are for everything they do.
The event was covered by WTVA. Once again, we would like to thank front-line workers and all those who serve in essential industries. As a team that is fortunate enough to be able to work at home, we could not do it without you. Throughout this pandemic, our staff has been doing what we can to help those who have been affected. If you need legal support after injury or illness, we invite you to reach out to our firm.
