Our legal team at Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyer, P.A. is proud to sponsor the 20th annual Mississippi Miracles Radiothon to give back to Children’s of Mississippi, part of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC).
In an enormous effort, central Mississippi radio stations joined forces in 2001 to present this annual broadcast. Over the years, the radiothon has raised over $6.7 million for Children’s of Mississippi. All proceeds are put toward equipment, research, and programs that aid the hospital in delivering high-quality care to children with injuries and illnesses.
As a firm dedicated to serving Jackson residents, we are always on the lookout for more ways in which we can give back to our community. Since we have supported Children’s of Mississippi for more than a decade, sponsoring the 20th annual Mississippi Miracles Radiothon was a no-brainer, especially with COVID-19 overwhelming the health care industry. As such, our firm’s founder, Attorney Richard Schwartz, held a press conference March 2, 2021 at 3 p.m. to speak on the importance of the radiothon. He will also appear as a daily guest on the 3-day broadcast to encourage listeners to participate in the massive fundraising effort.
We invite you to tune in to the stations below to hear the Mississippi Miracles Radiothon from March 3 to 5, 2021. To make a donation, call (601) 496-KIDS (5437) or text GROW to 51555 during the radiothon. You can also donate online at umc.edu/mississippimiracles.
Giving Back to Our Community
For more than 40 years, Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyer, P.A. has fought to protect the rights of those injured by careless and negligent parties. We make sure that our efforts to better the community go beyond our legal services, however — we consistently participate in and put on community events. From feeding frontline workers to donating KN95 masks to UMMC, to sponsoring the Salvation Army of Jackson Back-to-School Supply Drive, and more, we are always ready to help.
