Jake McDaniel is a dedicated personal injury attorney at Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyers, P.A., where he focuses on representing clients in personal injury and premises liability cases. Born and raised in McComb, Mississippi, Jake graduated from Parklane Academy in 2011 before attending the University of Mississippi. He was accepted into the Croft Institute for International Studies and earned his bachelor’s degree in 2015 with a concentration in global economics, business, European studies, and the French language.
Driven by a passion for justice and advocacy, Jake relocated to the state’s capital, where he began working at a local law firm and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law. After graduating in May 2020, he passed the Mississippi Bar Examination two months later and is now licensed to practice in all Mississippi state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts within the state.
While in law school, Jake served as a clerk for the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance. He joined Richard Schwartz & Associates in January 2021 and has since recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. Known for his strategic approach and dedication to justice, Jake is a tireless advocate who takes pride in helping injury victims navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Mississippi Association for Justice (MAJ), and the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar Association.
Jake and his wife, Dr. Margaret Cosnahan, live in the Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson, where they are active members of the local community.
